Pizza Pilgrims began In 2012, when founders Thom & James Elliot decided to quit their jobs and fly to the toe-end of Italy to pick up one of those classic three-wheel Piaggio vans and to drive all the way back to London to set up a mobile pizza wagon on the streets of the capital. Their passion for pizza and in particular Napoli style pizza led to a successful TV series that explored what characterises of this iconic Southern Italian dish. So what makes an authentic Napoli-style pizza? Well if you go to Pizza Pilgrims you’ll find soft poofy crusts, thin stretchy bases and classic combos using southern Italian ingredients such as Buffalo Mozzarella, Burrata, spicy Nduja, Fiori Di Latte and Calabrian Sausage. There are plenty of options for Pizza in Nottingham and several in Hockley, however, if you want something that is close to the real Napoli deal, then Pizza Pilgrims is a fun place for a fast bite.
